Peshawar – In connection with the grand celebrations of Independence Day, themed “Marika e Haq”, the Nowshera District Police organised a speech competition at the District Police Lines under the direct supervision of District Police Chief Ahmad Shah.The event was aimed at commemorating the sacrifices of police martyrs and instilling patriotic spirit among participants.
Children of police martyrs and lady police officers took part enthusiastically in the competition.Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sarah Tawab graced the occasion as Chief Guest.To ensure a fair evaluation, a Juwry Committee Comprising SDPO Pabbi Circle Adnan Azam, DSP Investigation Muhammad Naeem Khan, and DSP Security Saifullah Anjum reviewed the speeches of all contestants.
According to the Unanimous decision of the Juwry, the first position was jointly awarded to Rabia Khusro, granddaughter of Shaheed ASI Amir Khusro, and Hassan, son of Shaheed Kamranullah.The second position went to Umair, son of Shaheed ASI Muhammad Fayaz Khan.
The Chief Guest distributed cash prizes and certificates among the position holders. Speaking on the occasion, ADC Sarah Tawab said, As a nation, we have achieved victory in the ‘Marika e Haq’, which reflects our unity and collective strength.Let us pledge today to work with the same passion and dedication for the progress and prosperity of our beloved country.
