Nowshera police swift action : Five arrested in gang rape case of madrassa student in Aman Garh

Local police assure public of justice without delay

Peshawar – In a swift response, the Aza Khel Police have arrested five suspects involved in a horrific case of gang rape reported by a madrassa student in the village of Aman Garh.

According to police sources, the victim, (Mst), daughter of Ahmad Ali Jan resident of Aman Garh, filed a formal complaint at Aza Khel Police Station. She stated that on April 24, 2025, while returning home from her madrassa, she was assaulted by multiple individuals.

The accused have been identified as Anwar, son of Mishal Khan, resident of Sorey Baba currently living in Aman Garh; Diyan Shah, son of Arab Shah; Wahab Shah and Hassan Shah, sons of Shehenshah Bacha; and Gohar, son of Mirza Khan — all residents of Aman Garh. The victim accused them of gang rape and criminal conspiracy.

Upon receiving the report, the police promptly registered a case and transferred the victim under the protection of lady police officers to DHQ Hospital for medical examination.

District Police Officer (DPO) Abdul Rasheed took immediate notice of the incident and formed an investigation team headed by SDPO Cantt Circle Muqaddam Khan, with SHO Aza Khel Police Station Adil Syed and OII Naik Zaman Khan tasked with apprehending the culprits.

The team launched a rapid operation and successfully arrested all five accused individuals along with their collaborators. Further investigation is currently underway.

This incident has sparked public outrage, and authorities have assured that justice will be served without delay.
