Jeddah : The official website of the Pakistan Investors Forum Saudi Arabia has been formally launched. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Consul General of Pakistan, Khalid Majeed, Counselor for Trade and Investment, Saadia Khan, along with Pakistani and Saudi investors, business personalities, and community members.
Consul General Khalid Majeed welcomed the launch of the website, calling it a significant step in national service. He emphasized the need for further expansion so that more investors could benefit from it. He also advised that the website should be available in at least Arabic and English to facilitate local business professionals.
On this occasion, Counselor for Trade and Investment, Saadia Khan, announced that a “Made in Pakistan” exhibition would be held in Jeddah in the first week of February 2025. She urged all forums and community members to play their role in making the event a success.
President of the Pakistan Investors Forum, Chaudhry Shafqat Mahmood, highlighted that Saudi Vision 2030 and the FIFA World Cup 2034 would bring revolutionary changes to Saudi Arabia’s economy, creating lucrative opportunities for Pakistani investors. He stressed the importance of focusing on Pakistan and encouraged all registered investors, regardless of their scale, to invest in various projects without hesitation.
The event also featured speeches by Vice President of the Forum, Fazal Memon, CEO of Zultec, Zulqarnain Ali Khan, and Chaudhry Zaheer, who shed light on investment opportunities and the role of the Pakistani business community.
Earlier, Syed Jafar Shah provided details about the website. The event concluded with a dinner, where participants engaged in discussions and exchanged views on the future plans of the forum.
