Nothing can be more degrading then the infighting amongst those at the helms of power. Reportedly, a cabinet meeting was held under the chair of the the Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Honourable Khalid Khurshid , who regretted to have been not consulted in the selection of the three judges recently appointed to the Chief Court of GB, equivalent of the High Court of Pakistan .
The GB cabinet reportedly has now unanimously approved their decision to contest the flawed selection exercise in Honourable Supreme Court Of Pakistan on the valid reason that the public representative from Gilgit-Baltistan, who otherwise are not at par with the rest of the country in many ways were discriminated in this particular matter and never consulted, as if the Coalition Federal Government under the Prime Minister had the sole authority overriding ever rule and law of the land, all in the name of democracy through which everyone and every rule of business seems to be taken for a ride.
One can only wish that as and when the matter comes to the Honourable Supreme Court of Pakistan, is decided purely on merit and justice saved from injustice being in the unjust political hands.
