PAK vs ENG: Pakistan All Out for 366 Runs in First Innings of Second Test

MULTAN, September 16, 2024: Pakistan was dismissed for 366 runs in their first innings of the second Test against England.

Debutants K. Ghulam and S. Ayub, played crucial roles in building the total.

At lunch, Pakistan stood at 358 for 8 wickets, but the tailenders collapsed, adding just 8 runs before being dismissed by the visiting bowlers.

Apart from Ghulam and Ayub, the rest of the Pakistani batting lineup struggled, with captain S. Masood scoring only 3 runs.

However, tailenders Aamir Jamal and Noman Ali showed some resilience against England’s formidable bowling attack, helping to secure a competitive total.

In response, England made a strong start, with openers Z. Crowley and B. Wackett displaying impressive skills at the crease.

Their aggressive approach indicates England’s determination to win the second Test, having already taken a lead in the five-match series.

England had previously defeated Pakistan by an innings and 57 runs in the first Test at Multan Cricket Stadium. With pressure mounting, Pakistan must work hard to restrict England’s scoring in order to keep their chances alive in the second Test.
