ISLAMABAD ; (JUNE 29, 2022) In response to reports appearing in a section of Indian media regarding investigations into a murder case in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India, the Foreign Office spokesperson on Wednesday said Pakistwn has seen reports in a section of Indian media referring to investigations into the murder case in Udaipur, mischievously to link the accused individuals, Indian nationals, to an organization in Pakistan. The spokesperson in a statement said Pakistan categorically rejects any such insinuations, which are typical of the BJP-RSS ‘Hindutva’ driven Indian regime’s attempts at maligning Pakistan including by externalizing their internal issues through pointing the fingers towards Pakistan. The statement said “Such malicious attempts will not succeed in misleading the people, either in India or abroad”. Earlier on Wednesday, according to Hindustan Times, the two men who had beheaded a Hindu tailor in Rajasthan’s /Udaipur city had “links with Karachi-based Dawat-e-Islami, which has links with Barelvi pan-Islamic Tehreek-e-Labbaik organization in Pakistan.”
