Islamabad : Pakistan may continue its operation ” Ghazabul Haq” against Afghan regime for indefinite period.
A senior security source had off the record talk with the local media here on Monday.
Since media talk of the senior security source was off the record the local media did not mention identification and other details of the source.
However,the message given by the quoted security source is clear and loud. It made crystal clear that Pakistan will continue its military operation against Taliban regime unless Kabul comes up with a solid commitment that it would not allow the use of its soil for carrying out terror activities in Pakistan.
The senior security source said Pakistan has some targets for Operation ” Ghazabul Haq” and it will continue as long as its objectives were achieved.
The senior security source added Taliban regime has to take one option i.e either to side with Pakistan or with terror organisations operating against Pakistan from Afghan soil. He said Pakistan is targeting the terrorist organisations and their facilitators in Afghanistan . He clarified that Pakistan is not targeting Afghan people in the on-going operation.
The senior security source maintained that Pakistan security forces enjoy to target Indian forces . He said Pakistan is an atomic power and none can dare to challenge its security and territorial integrity.
Pakistan had launched its operation against Taliban regime last week following unprecedented surge in terror attacks in Pakistan. Pakistan has undeniable proofs that the terrorists operate from Afghanistan for targeting security forces and civilians in Pakistan.
Pakistan is fighting Afghanistan based terror organisations for years , but surge in attacks with coming in of Taliban in power in Afghanistan has forced Pakistan to take decisive action against Taliban regime and its Indian sponsored proxies. Pakistan is for years demanding of Taliban regime to stop permitting the use of its soil for terror activities in Pakistan.
Taliban time and again promised to stop terror activities against Pakistan from Afghan country ,but they practically protected terror organisations to keep doing terrorist activities in Pakistan. After having strong feelings that Taliban regime was basically acting as a facilitator to inspire terrorists to attack on Pakistan , Islamabad decided to punish Taliban regime for its dubious character . This approach has compelled Pakistan to launch a full-scale operation against Taliban regime and keep it on-going till complete deletion of terror groups from Afghanistan..
