ISLAMABAD.: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting to review the preparations for the “Pakistan Mining Investment Forum” to be held in Islamabad on April 8 and 9.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office on Wednesday, the meeting was attended by Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervez Malik, Special Secretary Ministry of Interior, Chairman CDA and other officials.
The participants of the meeting were given a detailed briefing on the objectives, scope, program and other logistical arrangements of the forum. The Deputy Prime Minister expressed the hope that the event will reshape Pakistan’s mining sector, promote foreign cooperation and strengthen international partnerships.
He assured the Ministry of Petroleum and other stakeholders of the Foreign Ministry’s full support to ensure its success.
