Pakistan roll out national vaccination plan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Saturday confirmed COVID-19 vaccination plan.
NCOC coordinator and federal minister , Asad Umar, issued details of vaccination plan to cope up with COVID-19 pandemic.
According to a tweet issued by Asad Umar, Pakistan will get 17 million doses of vaccine from China and two oer sources.
As per national vaccination plan, frontline workers including doctors, nurses , and paramedics will get COVID-19 vaccine in the first phase, commencing from next week.
This will be followed by vaccination of elderly persons aging 65 years and above.
In third phase, vaccine will be available to commoners.
Asad Umar in his tweet confirmed that around 17 million Pakistani will get vaccine by end June 2021.
Pakistan had signed contracs with different sources for supply of vaccine.
