Islamabad : Pakistan’s permanent representative in the United Nations, Mr Asim Iftikhar , addressed to the Council and warned Israel that it should refrain from referring Osama Bin Laden case to make what he termed as ‘shameful and misleading effort’ to justify its airstrikes on Qatar.
He reminded to Israel’s ambassador who was in attendance of UN Council meeting that Israel, instead behaving like a responsible nation, was acting like a terror state and threating every individual and country which, it fears, could oppose its what he said ‘ agenda of killing innocent civilians Muslims.
On the outset of his speech, Pakistan’s representative, Mr Asim Iftikhar, said like Israel its ambassador in UN was not listening to the point of view of the global community and it was keep on committing perpetual aggression against Middle East countries. He said “ I think Israel’s ambassador did not pay heed to any arguments made by the member of this Council and similarly Israel is not ready to listen to any country in the world and not even to its friends if any one is left , to refrain from expanding its agenda of state terrorism and rather attacking many countries in the Middle East” . He said Israel is an aggressor and using false narrative to mask it immoral and unjustified actions against Qatar and other countries in the region. He said Pakistan rejects Israel’s state terrorism in toto.
Mr Asim Iftikhar added that this Council has been holding meetings after meetings on the Middle East and Palestine for decades, but no practical step is taken to stop Israel from committing genocide in Gaza and attacking those countries which voice against its plan of killing innocent civilians . “We are witnessing the worst state terrorism by Israel and condemned its action that is a clear act of state terrorism and urge upon this Council meeting to reject Israel’s attack on Qatar in strongest manners,” the ambassador said.
Pakistan’s representative said Israel like all other aggressor is using false methodology to refer Pakistan in a totally different case for masking its aggression against Qatar. He added that Pakistan is a frontline fighter against Al-Qaeda and its the only country which is fighting against terrorists organisations in the most forceful manners.
