Islamabad : Pakistanis filled with joy and triumph on Youm Takbir, on Wednesday paid tribute to the civil and military leadership, Pakistani forces, scientists, and engineers for making Pakistan’s defense invincible.
On the completion of 27 years of Pakistan becoming a nuclear power, the nation celebrated Youm Takbir with national enthusiasm.
The day began with Quran recitation in mosques and prayers for Pakistan’s security. Scholars organized special prayers for the progress of Pakistan. Scholars said that May 28 is a very important day in the history of Pakistan, you Pakistan is stronger and more stable, the pride of the entire nation is higher than ever.
On May 28, 1998, Pakistan restored the balance of power in the region by carrying out 6 explosions in response to India’s five nuclear explosions. Pakistan asserted its right to defend itself. The world heard the call of Allahu Akbar from the mountains of Chagai and Pakistan emerged as the seventh nuclear power in the world and the first nuclear power in the Islamic world. Special events were organized across the country on Youm Takbir to salute the guardians of the homeland. Rallies and ceremonies were held in small and big cities including Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore.

Shahbaz Sharif said that Nawaz Sharif did not take into account economic sanctions, pressure, threats and greed, he made the country’s geographical borders invincible forever.
He said that the call of Allahu Akbar is still echoing from the mountains of Chagai as a pledge of the Pakistani nation, this wonderful tradition was repeated once again by the nation against the recent unjustified attacks by India. The Prime Minister saluted the nation, former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, scientists and engineers for making immense sacrifices for the nuclear program. On the occasion of Youm-e-Takbir, the armed forces, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and the Services Chiefs congratulated the people.
