Pakistan’s top military brass is for ruthless internal accountability

Crop Commanders calls for cyber defence , accountability

RAWALPINDI – Pakistan’s Army’s top leadership reaffirmed to protect cyberspace through robust cyber security measures, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

Military’s media wing said Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), chaired Corps Commanders’ Conference (CCC) at General Headquarters (GHQ), where the participants expressed satisfaction with ongoing efforts to combat illegal spectrum activities linked to terrorist networks.

The military leadership offered prayers and paid deep tribute to the ultimate sacrifices made by the martyrs of the Armed Forces, Law Enforcement Agencies, and civilians in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who have given their lives in the quest for peace and stability in Pakistan, according to ISPR.
During the conference, the participants were briefed on the current geo-strategic environment, national security challenges, and strategic and operational responses to emerging threats. n evaluating the hostile forces, malicious actors, subversive proxies, and the facilitators of Pakistan’s external and internal adversaries, especially those active in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the forum discussed various measures to neutralize these threats. The military leadership reaffirmed that the Pakistan Army, with unwavering public support, would not allow the hard-won successes against terrorism to be undone.

The forum stressed that the Army is a disciplined institution that upholds the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and loyalty to the state and its institutions. The Army’s rigorous and well-established system of accountability ensures that these values are maintained with steadfast commitment, leaving no room for exceptions or partiality. This strict adherence to accountability strengthens the Army’s integrity, ensuring that no one is above the law or exempt from scrutiny, according to ISPR.
OAS General Syed Asim Munir highlighted the importance of a strong and effective legal system, emphasizing that the Pakistan Army would continue to provide comprehensive support to the government, administrative bodies, and Law Enforcement Agencies in taking swift and lawful action against terrorists, anarchists, and criminal mafias.

The forum expressed confidence in the Pakistan Army’s operational readiness and commitment to maintaining high standards in pursuit of professional excellence.
In a gesture of solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK), who continue to endure severe human rights violations, the forum honored the martyrs of the Freedom Movement. The participants also strongly condemned the ongoing violence and genocide of Palestinians by Israel.
