Islamabad : has extended its heartfelt congratulations to General Asim Munir on his promotion to the rank of Field Marshal, crossing an important milestone in Pakistan’s military history.
In his congratulatory message, Pakistan Awami Qutb Party Chief Khaqan Waheed Khawaja said that General Asim Munir, by demonstrating excellent military strategy and leadership skills during the recent tense situation with India, not only gave a befitting reply to the enemy but also highlighted Pakistan’s military capabilities and defense preparedness at the global level. Under his leadership, the armed forces demonstrated full professionalism, which further strengthened the country’s defense.
Khaqan Waheed Khawaja further said that General Asim Munir’s promotion to the rank of Field Marshal is not only a recognition of his personal services but also a recognition of the high standards and sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces. It is hoped that under his leadership, the country’s defense capabilities will become more invincible and the internal security, law and order situation will also improve significantly.
The Chairman PAQP reiterated the resolve that the entire nation stands by the Pakistan Armed Forces and will continue to provide all possible support for the country’s security, sovereignty and peace.
