RAWALPINDI: The passing out parade ceremony of the 150th PMA Long Course, 69th Integrated Course, 24th Lady Cadet Course, and 36th Technical Graduate Course took place at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul, a military statement said on Saturday.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), cadets from several allied nations, including Iraq, Jordan, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Palestine, Sudan, and Yemen, also graduated from the academy. General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCsSC), attended the event as the chief guest and reviewing officer.
During the parade, General Mirza presented awards to distinguished cadets. The prestigious Sword of Honor was awarded to Battalion Senior Under Officer Abdullah Afzal from the 150th PMA Long Course, while the President’s Gold Medal was given to Battalion Senior Under Officer Babar Ullah Aman, also from the 150th PMA Long Course.

The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Overseas Gold Medal was awarded to Senior Under Officer Kshitij Gurung from Nepal, and the Chief of Army Staff Cane went to Course Junior Under Officer Muhammad Umar Sheraz of the 36th Technical Graduate Course. Commandant’s Canes were presented to Course Junior Under Officer Muhammad Suleman of the 69th Integrated Course and Course Under Officer Pakeeza Yaqoob of the 24th Lady Cadet Course.
