PDM sets agenda for final round against PTI government

ISLAMABAD: By rejecting the government offer for dialogue , Pakistan Demoratic Movement (PDM) on Tuesday set a clear agenda of having a final round to dethrone incumbent government of Imran Khan before it reaches to get majority in Senate of Pakistan elections falling in March 2021.
JUI (F) chief ,Maulana Fazal ur Rehman, who was accompanied by PPP chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and PMLN vice president, Maryam Nawaz, came straight from the meeting hall for press briefing after a Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) meeting held here in his chair.
He announced that the opposition alliance outrightly rejects the prime minister’ s offer for dialogue as he does not deserve it.

He also announced that PDM has set the deadline of December 31, 2020 for its parties to take resignations from its parliamentarians to submit them to the right forum at the right time.
Maulana said PDM steering committee is meeting on Wednesday to finalise the date for launching a long march on Islamabad to force PTI government to accept PDM demands.
PDM is demanding end to PTI government forthwith and fresh elections in the country.
Maulana also announced that PDM Lahore rally scheduled for December 13, 2020 will be held as per schedule at the announced venue and at the same date.
PDM chief warned the government of unexpected reaction if it tried to block PDM rally in Lahore.
“You (government) will face even worse humiliation than Multan rally if tried to intervene in Lahore rally”, Maulana asserted .
Maulana was optamistic that Lahore rally will be historic in terms of its participation.
He told a questioner that PTI government was already feeling the heat of opposition rallies and it just needs the last push to get an unceremonial end.
He said PDM was ready to face any situation and consequnces to take its campaign against sitting regime to the logical conclusion .
Earlier, PDM reviewed its strategy against PTI government and had threadbare discussion to make its Lahore rally a game changer in the meeting.
PPP supremo, Asif Zardari , and PML N former chief, Nawaz Sharif, participated in the meeting via video link.
Although, PDM is making demand of fresh elections in the country, but the government side firmly believes PDM had launched anti government campaign to block PTI from getting majority in upcoming Senate elections.
Federal Information minister Shibli Faraz , had claimed that PDM campaign was meant to thwart Senate elections to block PTI from getting majority in upper house.†
