PEC launches young engineers national forum to foster leadership Skills

Islamabad: The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) has announced the establishment of the Young Engineers National Forum (YENF), a dynamic platform aimed at empowering young engineers and enhancing their professional growth.

According to PEC, the forum is designed to unite young engineering associations, societies, and groups under one umbrella to promote leadership skills and technical expertise among the country’s budding talent. By building a comprehensive database of young engineers, YENF will implement initiatives to boost their leadership capabilities and professional development.

Chairman PEC, Engineer Waseem Nazir, emphasized that YENF will serve as the representative platform for young engineers, focusing on increasing their capacity to meet local and global market demands. He stated, “Our priority is to enhance the abilities of young engineers to prepare them for both domestic and international opportunities.”

The forum will also provide recommendations for initiatives tailored to young engineers, promote unity within the engineering profession, and play a vital role in fostering national cohesion. Additionally, it will identify opportunities to elevate the engineering field and strengthen camaraderie among emerging engineers.

PEC has called on young engineers to actively participate in the forum by joining as members. Associations.

The last date to submit applications is January 20, 2025. PEC encourages young engineers to seize this opportunity to contribute to the growth and unity of the engineering profession in Pakistan.
