Islamabad : The government on Wednesday cut down the prices of diesel and petrol for the commuters by Rs 2 per liter .
The Finance Division issued a notification for the reduction in the rates of diesel and petrol. The new prices of the petrol and diesel will remain effective till May 15,2025.
The government revises the rates of petroleum products on fortnightly basis.
As per the notification of the Finance Division, diesel rates have been reduced by Rs 2 and its new rates for the current fortnight have been fixed at Rs 256.64 per litre. Likewise, the new petrol rates have been fixed at Rs 252.63 per litre.
