ISLAMABAD : May 19,2023: The Pakistan Hotels Association (PHA) has condemned the desecration and planned plunder of military installations and state properties on 9th May. PHA expressed its outrage at the planners, inciters, implementers and supporters of such heinous crimes.
Mr. Mustansir Zakir, Chairman, Pakistan Hotels Association, Mr. M. Akram Farid, Senior Vice Chairman PHA, Mr. Hameed Kidwai, Advisor Hashoo Group and prominent Hoteliers reiterated PHA’s stance on the alarming situation in the country and expressed deep solidarity with Pak Army and its leadership
They asked the Government to take stern action against elements of anarchy and chaos. The Association affirmed that the nation and business community in particular value the velour and sacrifices of Pak Army and maligning this institution is tantamount to jeopardizing national cohesion and peace.
The Association also expressed serious concerns on the falling economy and historic inflation in the country. The forum asked the military and political leadership for a negotiated settlement of the political parties and constitutional crisis in the country. The business community would support all efforts of national reconciliation and development, it was added.
Chairman, PHA urged the need for a well planned economic reforms package that can ensure salvation of the country’s poor as well as the business community.
