LAHORE : Aleem Khan’s entry into Jahangir Tareen group has created panic in prime minister Imran Khan’s camp.
Soon after Aleem Khan’s announcement in Lahore of joining Tareen group, prime minister, Imran Khan, sent his messenger, Governor Sindh Imran Ismael, who was summoned by him to Islamabad on special mission to pacify estranged Aleem Khan . After getting instructions from the party chief and prime minister , Imran Khan, the Governor Sindh air dashed in Lahore within hours after Aleem Khan’s press talk wherein he questioned Usman Buzdar’s governance in Punjab.
The Governor Sindh had a meeting with Aleem Khan in Lahore and later talk to media to tell it that despite his outrageous press talk against Buzdar Sarkar, Aleem Khan , was still a soldier of Imran Khan. However, he could not answer many questions asked by the media persons. Imran Ismael told the media persons in Lahore that Aleem Khan has pointed out some issues of the parties like why Jahangir Khan Tareen was made to bow out of the party when he has so many sacrifices and services for the party. The Governor Sindh also disclosed that Aleem Khan has questioned the governance level of Usman Buzdar in Punjab. When asked as to why host Aleem Khan was not with him for the press talk, Imran Ismael claimed thet he himself asked to stay away from the media at this stage.
Aleem Khan who had a very important role in organising PTI in Punjab in general and in Lahore in particular had resigned as a senior minister of Buzdar Sarkar a couple of months ago. Aleem Khan had informed the media here that PTI top leadership ignored loyal party workers and gave importance to outsiders after coming into power.
He also counted his sacrifices for PTI on the occasion.
Aleem Khan had injected billions of rupees when he was awarded ticket for NA 125 Lahore. This was a great contest and Aleem Khan proved his metal by getting popular vote.
After having a crucial meeting with Aleem Khan , the Governor Sindh again landed in Islamabad to share outcome of his meeting with Aleem Khan.
With time running out, the prime minister may take a long awaited decision of replacing Usman Buzdar as chief minister Punjab . This could be one and the only option available with the prime minister to save his rule in the centre . The choice of Buzdar as chief minister Punjab has been a big question mark for the prime minister . The same question can cost him the rule of he remains hard on changing Buzdar as chief minister Punjab with some vibrant and competent party leader to govern the province effectively.
