ISLAMABAD : To keep its members at bay on the day of judgement, prime minister , Imran Khan, has directed to the ruling party members in writing to stay away from the national assembly session on the day of voting on the no confidence motion.
The no confidence motion against prime minister , Imran Khan, has been tabled in the national assembly . After its formal endorsement by 161 members , the lower house is scheduled to meet again on March 31 to start debate on the no confidence motion.
Since a considerable members of ruling party have distanced themselves from prime minister , the treasure benches fear many defectors MNAs of the ruling party in the national assembly may vote in favour of the no confidence motion .
The opposition needs 172 members of the national assembly for getting its no confidence motion . Since tabling of no confidence motion in the national assembly , the opposition is claiming of having required.number of votes to get no confidence motion passed. The government, too , is struggling hard to foil the motion for no confidence against the prime minister .
Seeing the level of distrust on the prime minister, it was not a rocket science to believe that the ruling party dissidents whose number is around 30 would not only attend the national assembly session, but also vote for no confidence motion.
NEWSMAN sources on Wednesday said ” majority of dissidents of PTI in the national assembly will attend the national assembly session and vote for no confidence motion . Those who from the ruling party will support no confidence motion in the national assembly were ready to lose their seats in the lower house.
