Islamabad : Pakistan prime minister Shahbaz Sharif , on Tuesday extended invitation to parliamentary leaders for an in-camera briefing on the regional situation.
The in-camera briefing to the parliamentary leaders will cover US -Israel war on Iran and its impact on Pakistan as well as Pakistan’s on-going operation ” Ghazabul Haq ” launched a week ago to punish Afghan regime for its facilitatory role for those terror groups which are operating from Afghanistan to destabilise Pakistan.
Pakistan is carrying out the military operation against Taliban regime for a week after it ignored its warnings to stop allowing the use of its soil to terror groups for carrying out deadly attacks in Pakistan.
Afghan regime not only ignored Pakistan’s repeated calls , but also increased its level of pampering to protest the terror groups to carry out deadly attacks on Pakistan.
Pakistan has witnessed massive increase in terror attacks from Afghanistan during the last one year. Taliban regime’s facilitatory role has turned Afghanistan into a terror hub.
The United Nations ( UN) reports vindicated Pakistan’s position on the issue and urged Taliban regime to give up it’s support to terror groups operating from Afghan soil against Pakistan.
Since Taliban regime is being funded by India and some other counties which are working on a well- though plan to destabilise Pakistan through terrorism, Kabul shrugged – off UN warnings also.
Taliban regime’s policy of ignoring Pakistan and UN warnings left Islamabad with only the option of using military power to uproot anti Pakistan plan from Afghanistan.
Pakistan forces are carrying out their plan envisaged in “Operation Ghazabul Haq ” and making huge success on daily basis. Taliban regime is now running from one country to another to get Pakistan ‘s military operation closed , but so for it has not met any success.
Exactly , at a time when Pakistan is carrying out its operation against Taliban regime, US and Israel have launched their war on Iran. This new front has thrown the entire Middle East (ME) in an unmanageable crisis.
Pakistan is making every possible effort to bring ME war to an end. The ME war like every other country is feared to unfold into a bigger crisis for all neighbouring countries including Pakistan.
The prime minister is likely to give a detailed briefing to the parliamentary leaders in in-camera briefing on both key issues –Operation Ghazabul Haq and US -Israel war on Iran and their possible fallouts for Pakistan.
PM advisor , Rana Sanaullah extended invitations to the opposition leader in the lower house , Mahmood Khan Achakzai , Allama Nasir Abbas , PPP leadership and other political parties which have representation in the parliament.
Law minister , Azam Naseer Tarar , had informed the national assembly on Tuesday that the prime minister wants to have input of the entire political leadership on the very precarious situation arising out of US-Israel war on Iran and Iran’s retaliatory strikes on Muslim countries in the ME.
Deputy prime minister , Ishaq Dar , also touched this issue in the upper house and said the prime minister will seek opinion of all parliamentary leaders in the in-camera briefing and on its basis his government will move forward on the issue.
