ISLAMABAD : Although the local media, in particular the local TV channels, kept on beating drums on the crucial meeting between the Sharifs and Chaudharys of Gujrat held on Sunday, but according to NEWSMAN sources, the latter flatly, but gently conveyed to the former that their party…Pakistan Muslim League Quaid e Azam (PML-Q)… can not be a part to any vague adventure like proposed no trust against the incumbent prime minister and his government to which they are a party.
Sources in PML-Q told NEWSMAN after the meeting requesting anonymity that Chaudharys of Gujrat do not favour no trust move against prime minister , Imran Khan, for different reasons like their party was committed to support the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) government . Pakistan Muslim League
(PMLN) top leadership including it’s chief Shahbaz Sharif, Ayaz Sadiq , Saad Rafique had held three rounds of talks with PML-Q side, headed by elder Shujaat Hussain and speaker Punjab assembly ,Pervez Elahi, and their young generation including federal minister, Moonis Elahi, Shafay Hussain and others.
PMLQ’s strategy is to stay away from proposed no trust against Imran Khan, sources claimed
PMLQ leadership has already conveyed its unavailability for supporting the opposition for no trust during its meetings with other parties leadership which are part to the opposition alliance.. Pakistan democratic Movement (PDM).
The Pakistan People Party (PPP) was advocating it’s proposal since long of presenting no trust move against the prime minister to dismantle Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) government. The PML-N had some doubt on working of the proposal to achieve the goal, but it bought the PPP’s idea on its consistent demand. Although both major parties in opposition , PMLN and PPP, are making every desperate effort to gain required support to ensure smooth sailing of no trust move, but little or negative response from decisive political parties like PMLQ is making the job difficult if not very difficult.
