KARACHI: Jan 31,2023:After a long gaining streak spanning over more than a month,
US dollar value witnessed stability in interbank on Tuesday.
US dollar did not show any change in value against the rupee in interbank and it is trading today at Rs 265 (buying) and Rs 271 (selling) .
In open market , US dollar also remained stable today. It is value against the rupee in open market today is Rs 271(buying) and Rs 276 (selling) respectively .
Other major currencies including Saudi Riyal and UAE Dirham showed downward trend in local currency market. Saudi Riyal lost one rupee in value and is trading at Rs 71( buying ). Its last day value was Rs 72 (buying). UAE Dirham value reduced by one rupee also and its trading at Rs 72.50 (buying).
Euro shed its value by Rs 3 . It’s rate in local market is recorded at Rs 290 against last day’s rates of Rs 293.
UK pound sterling also lost Rs 3 and is trading at Rs 330.
AUD lost Rs 2 and its trading at Rs 186 . CAD lost one rupee in value and its trading at Rs 198 today.
Since uncapping , US dollar has appreciated by Rs 34.
