LODHRAN: Pakistan People Party (PPP) long march has reached Multan and it will for Lahore on Friday.
According to an independent source , around 20 to 25 thousand people are participating in PPP long march led. by party chairman , Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Addressing the long march in Multan , Bilawal. Bhutto roared that the prime minister has no option other than resigning or announce fresh election .
He set a deadline of 5 days for Imran Khan to resign or face opposition no confidence motion .
The government of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) seems in total confusion over the question of opposition’s no confidence .
None from the government side is coming up in the media to give s clear strategy to cope with the opposition”s no trust move against the prime minister . Apparently , the government camp is in shock as it did not believe that the opposition to which the government spokesmen always chided to make its fun could get together for a common goal of oust prime minister, Imran Khan , from power .
The opposition on the other hand seems composed on making no confidence motion a success. The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) , Pakistan People Party (PPP) and Jamiaat e Ulema Islam Fazal (JUI-F) are leading the no.confidence move . Top leadership is meeting on daily basis now to give final shape to its no confidence motion .
PPP supremo and former president , Asif Ali Zardari, is having meeting s with opposition parties and the government allies to convince them that it was the right time to table no confidence motion in the parliament . . He also had a long meeting with JUI (F) chief , Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman , in Islamabad to give final shape to the motion to be tabled in the parliament for no confidence against the premier. On the ground , the party chairman is pushing long march heading for Islamabad to enhance political pressure on the prime minister for force him to resign.
The PPP chairman has set a deadline 5 days for.prime minister to resign or announce fresh general elections in the country.
After the meeting with PPP supremo and former president , Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman, on Thursday told media persons that in the meeting the discussion on no confidence motion was discussed in depth . He said the opposition leaders are having regular consultation with all stakeholders. Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman said the opposition has signed the motion for no confidence and it would be submitted to the speaker national assembly for no confidence against the prime minister.
