ISLAMABAD : September 28,2022: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) leader senator , Ishaq Dar took oath as a federal minister here at the presidency on Wednesday
President Dr Arif Alvi administrated the oath from Ishaq Dar as a federal minister.
Prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , and other senior members of his cabinet observed oath taking of Mr Dar.
Ishaq Dar is going to take portfolio of the Finance minister. Miftah Ismail had resigned a few days ago to pave way for Ishaq Dar to take up as Finance minister .
Talking to the media after
oath taking as Finance minister , Ishaq Dar said Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) should shun shame politics and avoid politics of dividing the nation. He said PTI had been opposing his return because it’s leaders are on an agenda of putting Pakistan in trouble . He said he had played a role in pulling Pakistan out of similar economic crisis and now he has been tasked for the same job and will do my utmost to bring economic stability in the country.
He said getting a passport as a Pakistani national is basic right of each individual and depriving anyone of this right is anti constitutional and violation of the international laws.
Ishaq Dar said his return to Pakistan is a big slap on the face of those who were saying he will never come back.
Mr Dar issued a blunt warning to the dollar mafia and said those involved in artificial jacking up of dollar should give up their this dirty business.
