ISLAMABAD, October 23, 2024: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has officially welcomed Palestinian students to Pakistan, offering them the opportunity to study free of charge.
At a welcoming ceremony in Islamabad, the Prime Minister encouraged more students from Gaza to come to Pakistan, where they can access quality education in cities like Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, and Islamabad.
He assured the students that they would receive a high standard of education at no cost and praised organizations such as the Al-Khidmat Foundation for their assistance to war-affected students from Palestine.
Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that Pakistan is a second home for these students, promising that all efforts will be made to ensure their comfort during their stay in the country.
Dr. Mukhtar Bharath, the Prime Minister’s Coordinator on Health, informed attendees that over one hundred Palestinian students have already arrived in Pakistan to continue their education.
The students expressed their gratitude to the Prime Minister and the people of Pakistan for their generous support.
