Muzaffarabad: Till filing of these reports at around 1.30 AM on Monday, the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) emerged victorious in Azad Jammu Kashmir elections by bagging 23 seats.
Pakistan People Party (PPP) showed better performance by emerging the second largest party with winning 6 seats.
Main opposition party ,,Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (,PMLN) lost its ground. It could win only 5 seats .
Muslim Conference and Azad Jummu Kashmir People Party each won one seat.
Jamaat e Islami seemed whitewashed in AJK elections . None of its candidates could win in a house of 45 direct seats.
Many heavy weights including Barrister Sultan Mahmood of PTI, Sardar Yaqub, Sardar Atiq of Muslim Conference , Faisal Mumtaz,Rathor, Hafiz Hamid Raza of PTI have won their seats.
