ISLAMABAD: A flop show of Saifullah Niazi group at Liaqat Bagh  Rawalpindi other day  has brought fiery infighting of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) to the forefront, exposing weak control of Imran Khan over his party.
Sources said PTI flop show at Liaqat Bath on October 10, 2020,  under guise of oath-taking ceremony of its office-bearers of Punjab northern region, was basically a power show of Saifullah Niazi group against Amir Kayani group.
“Liaqat Bagh show was organised by Sadaqat Abbasi and other active hawks of Saifullah Niazi group and it was aimed at ditching Amir Kayani group”, a diehard, but dejected party worker disclosed to NEWSMAN on Sunday in an informal talk.
The PTI worker questioned have anyone ever seen a political party organising its oath taking ceremony at Liaqat Bagh?.
The postures, displayed at Murree Road,  Rawalpindi, confirm disclosure of infighting between Saifullah Niazi  and  Kayani group , as none of the postures or hoarding bills carries even single photo of Amir Kayani , who by the way is , Secretary General of the party and the “oath-taking ” ceremony was held not only in his hometown, but also in his constituency.
Amir Kayani had won last election from NA 61, Rawalpindi.
Sadaqat Abbasi, who is reportedly moving spirit behind the split in the party , won in 2018 election from NA 57, Rawalpindi. Both Sadaqat Abassi and Amir Kayani are not in talking terms now, another party office bearer confided requesting anonymity.
Fawad Chaudhary , a party heavy weight, had publically questioned credibility of Saifullah Niazi and Sadaqat Abbasi in his one of the media talks some three weeks ago.
“Anybody who brings a necktie or a shirt, gets a party office” , Fawad Chaudhary had remarked in the media talk.

The bill boards and postures displayed at the Marree Road, Rawalpindi, do show huge photos of Sadaqat Abbasi MNA and Saifullah Niazi, party chief organiser and nephew of prime minister, Imran Khan.
According to another party leader, infighting between Saifullah Niazi group and Kayani group was very much in the notice of top party leadership including the prime minister himself, but so far this infighting was continuing without any intruption.

In a related development, Ghulam Murtaza Abbasi who contested for provincial seat but lost the election in 2018, had refused to appear the disciplinary committee for alledgelly castigating Sadaqat Abbasi in his press conference in Both Satian   Ghulam Murtaza Satti had viewed on the issue that he was loyal to party but can not appear before any disciplinary committee at a farmhouse in Islamabad.

These events clearly show weak grip of Imran Khan over his party .He is Also believed to be a weak prime minister as autocracy and even his own minister rarely take his orders seriously.
