ISLAMABAD : Nov 7,2022: As political crisis deepens in Pakistan, Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) is making the people lives miserable across Pakistan in general and in Punjab and federal capital in particular by blocking the main roads in all major cities of the country.
On Monday, the PTI workers blocked main roads of Rawalpindi and Islamabad which left the commuters of twin cities in total disarray . The road blockades also barred patients from reaching hospitals in time . The ambulances were also seen stuck up in traffic due to PTI violent protests.
Meanwhile , PTI workers also blocked motorways at different locations . It also forced inter city traffic to stay off the roads.
The apparent objective of PTI protest is to paralyse life in Pakistan and force the incumbent coalition government of Shahbaz Sharif to call new date for general elections in the country .
However ,. the government and a good percentage of the people of Pakistan does believe that PTI has a subtle agenda and it’s to cripple Pakistan economically and push it into a stage from where its chances of reversal for a .brighter future become dim.
Interior minister , Rana Sanaullah , who being a key political figure of the government is confronting PTI to check its what he calls ‘Fitna’ (destructive) culture to push Pakistan into total chaos and provide an opportunity to anti Pakistan forces to put their nefarious design against Pakistan in.motion is prime target of Imran Khan , had a press conference to reiterate that a case against the army officers can not be registered on the wish of this fraud !Imran Khan).
PTI is taking a very thin silver line to keep convincing a vast majority of Pakistan population that its top leadership was struggling for real Azadi’ (freedom) from those forces which have held on Pakistan’s politics and civilian supermacy hostage.PTI’s narrative has created a mindset among its supporters that Imran Khan was a clean man and a last hope of putting Pakistan on the track that leads to progress and prosperity. Imran Khan’s followers hardly believe in any argument which goes against their leaders .
Imran Khan has misused his authority as prime minister to indulge in corrupt practices . Tales of corruption of Farah Gogi, a close friend of Bushra Bibi, former first lady, and favours of millions of dollars to Malik Riaz of Bahria Town are only a few one . The real volume of corruption of Imran Khan rule may be more than Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari , but Imran Khan has successfully befooled his followers that he was fighting against Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif for their rampant corruption .
Interestingly, neither Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) which is first target of Imran Khan’s so.called anti corruption fight nor Pakistan People Party (PPP) was exposing corruption done by Imran Khan, his wife and close political aides . Rather , the leadership of PMLN and PPP seemed in total retreat to PTI and hence keeps on pushing their heads in the sand with a hope that its policy of ” hidding’ from evil will protect it from more downfall.
Imran khan’s policy of keep calling lies a truth has worked for him. Despite having a four years rule of protecting and pampering close mafias Imran Khan today has managed to push his political opponents to a disgraceful position.
Since his ouster, Imran Khan is targeting the army . His this action is ringing bells for Pakistani nation . This is making Imran Khan’s agenda doubtful and alarming to the people of Pakistan of a real danger.
