Riyadh : The Saudi Broadcasting Corporation organized the annual Ramadan Suhoor celebrations, in the presence of the Corporation’s CEO, Mr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harthi, and a group of media professionals, artists, and specialists in the fields of drama and program production,
in a meeting that strengthens the bonds of communication and opens the way for exchanging ideas and visions about the latest developments in the media scene.
This ceremony, which the Authority has been accustomed to organizing annually, comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to enhance partnership with the media and artistic community, confirming its pivotal role in supporting the media and content industry in the Kingdom.
The CEO of the Authority, Mr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harthi, stressed the Authority’s keenness to adopt continuous development and innovation in various fields, pointing out its openness to all opinions and comments that contribute to improving the quality of media outputs, stressing the importance of intellectual exchange and its role in enhancing creativity and innovation.
Al-Harthi explained that the Authority was keen during the month of Ramadan to provide content that meets the aspirations of the public with the highest level of quality and professionalism, while adhering to professional standards, and in line with societal values and local culture.
He added that this year’s Ramadan programming cycle focused on enhancing local production and highlighting the national identity, by presenting content that reflects the diversity of the Kingdom’s regions and their rich cultures, in the belief that local production is the cornerstone of media excellence.
At the end of his speech, Al-Harthi expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister of Media, Mr. Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari, for his continuous support for the Authority’s progress and his constant keenness to achieve its strategic goals, stressing that this support was a fundamental pillar in enabling the Authority to provide distinguished media content. He also expressed his thanks for the efforts of the Authority’s employees, who were behind the success of the Ramadan programming cycle, through working to produce content that keeps pace with the public’s aspirations and reflects an honorable image of Saudi media.
It is noteworthy that the Radio and Television Corporation has made great efforts this year to present a variety of Ramadan programmes and series, according to precise standards that reflect its mission of presenting purposeful and influential media content.
