Saud Shakeel’s match-saving century put Pakistan

Rawalpindi : Saud Shakeel’s match-saving century put Pakistan in the driving seat for third test at Rawalpindi test on Friday.

He played a very responsible and glorious inning when Pakistan needed it to save the third and final test. He scored 134 runs off 223 balls. With Saud Shakeel ‘s heroic inning Pakistan has gained a reasonable lead.

It has changed the game complexion in favour of Pakistan. On the other side with Saud Shakeel , Sajid Khan who delivered with the ball is playing an aggression batting. He is not out for 41 runs of 45 balls.

Pakistan ‘s lead has increased chance of its win the final game against England.

Earlier Today: Third test – Day 2: Pakistan lost four wickets in the first session of day two of the third test against England at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium and added 114 runs to its last night score of 73 for 3 wickets.

Pakistan was 187 for 7 at the lunch. Pakistan’s Saud Shakeel is resisting England’s spinners to help Pakistan’s equalise score to the visiting side.

At 187 for 7 at lunch, Pakistan is still 80 runs short to 267 runs of England side’s in the first inning.

England’s Rehman Ahmad and Shoab Bashir gave befitting response to Pakistani spinners who claimed 10 wickets in the first inning.

Pakistan has to play a more careful game to end England ‘s lead.

Pakistan is in trouble due to non-performance of its lead batters, in particular, Abdullah Shafique and Shan Masood (Captain).

Their poor performance of batters is spoiling hard work of the bowlers.

Series stands leveled as both England and Pakistan had won one test each, both held in Multan.
