Security forces foiled infiltration attempt on Pak-Afghan border, 16 Khawarij terrorists killed
Rawalpindi : The Security forces foiled an infiltration attempt by Khawarij terrorists on the Pak-Afghan border, 16 Khawarij terrorists were killed as a result of timely action by security forces.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Khawarij attempted to infiltrate in the Ghulam Khan Kalay area of North Waziristan on the intervening night of March 22-23, on which the security forces responded promptly and killed 16 Khawarij in a fierce exchange of fire. The ISPR said that Pakistan has repeatedly asked the Afghan interim government for effective border management, and it is expected that the Afghan interim government will fulfill its responsibilities.
The Pakistan Army spokesperson has demanded that Afghanistan prevent Khawarij from using its territory for terrorism in Pakistan, security forces are determined to secure their borders and will ensure the end of terrorism. President Asif Ali Zardari, in a statement, paid tribute to the security forces for stopping the infiltration of Khawarij terrorists.
The President appreciated the bravery of the security forces for killing 16 Khawarij terrorists while taking timely action. Asif Ali Zardari said that the brave forces of Pakistan are determined to protect the country’s borders, while these operations will continue until the complete elimination of the scourge of terrorism.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the security forces for foiling an attempt to infiltrate Pakistan from Afghanistan. Shahbaz Sharif said that the evil intentions of terrorists will never be allowed to succeed, the entire nation stands by its brave forces of Pakistan. The Speaker of the National Assembly condemned the infiltration of Khawarij terrorists on the Pak-Afghan border in North Waziristan.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that the unwavering determination of the security forces to eliminate Khawarij terrorists is commendable, the entire nation stands by the security forces in the fight against Khawarij terrorists, the Speaker paid tribute to the security forces for thwarting the infiltration of Khawarij terrorists. The Speaker of the National Assembly praised the professional capabilities of the security forces for killing 16 Khawarij infiltrators.
