ISLAMABAD, October 30, 2024: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with Saudi Investment Minister Engr. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih and Advisor at the Saudi Royal Court Mohammad Bin Mazyad Al-Tuwaijri in Riyadh on Wednesday to discuss the progress of economic initiatives between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister recalled the recent visit of the Saudi Investment Minister to Pakistan from October 9-11, where a large private sector delegation accompanied him.
He noted that the business-to-business agreements signed during that visit are beginning to materialize into concrete investment deals.
Prime Minister Sharif emphasized the importance of maintaining momentum in creating new opportunities for a robust economic partnership between the two countries.
He expressed gratitude to Minister Al-Falih for his dedication to enhancing economic cooperation and highlighted the significant opportunities arising from Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
The Prime Minister is currently in Saudi Arabia for a two-day visit to lead Pakistan’s delegation at the 8th Future Investment Initiative, which took place on October 29-30, 2024.
