THATHA: Heer Soho, MPA, Sindh Parliamentary Secretary, Department of Endowments and Zakat, said that Sindh is the land of Sufi elders and dervishes who have always taught love, peace and brotherhood and we should all follow their teachings. It is the duty of the elders that the shrines of spirituality, the rivers of grace, the center of peace and a valuable asset whose literature and respect and providing all facilities to the pilgrims and devotees are among our top priorities. He said this while talking to media persons after inaugurating the three-day celebrations of 383rd Annual Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ashabi Dargah at the Dargah. Thatta Endowment Manager Muhammad Nawaz Pathan, scholars and dignitaries of the area were also present on the occasion. Parliamentary Secretary Sindh Awqaf Heer Soho further said that the sanctity of dargahs in Sindh would be maintained in all cases and no one would be allowed to misuse the premises of dargahs. He directed the administration that Urs Mubarak Security, cleanliness, clean drinking water, toilets and other required facilities besides ablution should be ensured to the pilgrims and devotees visiting the shrine during the year so that they do not face any inconvenience. He later reviewed the various ongoing development projects at the Dargah and on the spot directed the concerned officers and engineers to complete the development projects as per the standards and within the earliest. He further said that in the forthcoming budget more and different development projects would be set up for all the shrines of Sindh so that maximum facilities could be provided to the pilgrims. On the occasion, Endowment Manager Muhammad Nawaz Pathan and others also presented presents of Sindh culture to the Parliamentary Secretary Endowments Sindh MPA Heer Soho.
