KARACHI: At a seminar held here on “Lands and democratic right”, Sindhi nationalists vowed here on Sunday to resist any move of land grabbers like Bahria Town.
The seminar was organised by Awami Tehreek. A large number of nationalists attended the seminar.
The leaders of Awami Tehreek, Sindhiani Tehreek, the representstives of students , labour and lawyers organisation addressed the participants of the seminar.
In his address, Awami Tehreek chief Rasool Bux Khaskhali said Sindh is a land of pure who never accepted intruders and living to its tradition, Sindhi nationalists will resist the move of Bahria Town and other grabbers with full force. Khaskhali claimed that Bahria Town was developed in Sindh to provide housing facility to Afghans with an objective to inject terrorism in the land of Sindh. He warned that those who were working on this conspiracy will have to face unending resistance from Sindhis who never accepted others occupation on their land.
Other speakers also called upon Sindh government to stop Bahria Town from grabbing land in Sindh and provide shelter to Afghans .
