LAHORE (July 15,2022). The election campaign for ‘do and die’ by polls scheduled for July ,17,2022 came to an end finLy at mid night on July 15. Both main political opponents , Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) and Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf !PTI) made their final show on Friday evening in Lahore

PTI chairman, Imran Khan, and PMLN vice president , Maryam Nawaz , addressed their last public gatherings in Lahore before expiry of deadline of mid night set by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to stop campaign for by polls being held in ,20 constituencies of Punjab

Since , by -polls of July 17, 2022 will decide the fate of the Punjab government in the first and then if PTI wins by polls in the province ,both main stream political parties (PTI and PMLN) have put in everything to get maximum support for their candidates and make sure that they get majority seats to qualify to form government in the Punjab.

Imran Khan turned into a whirlwind during the last two weeks election campaign . He rushed from one constituency to another on daily basis to mobilise masses and make sure that his party candidates sweep in upcoming crucial by-polls.

PTI needs 16 out of 20 seats to get the number game in its favour to win the scheduled elections for chief minister Punjab . Although , Imran Khan , seems upbeat to turn the table on his main political opponent party (PMLN) in by polls and win required number of seats to form its like minded government in Punjab , but independent surveys and media reports refute PTI claims . These survey suggest marginal lead of PMLN in by polls. In such a case, PMLN may remain on driving seat in the Punjab.

PMLN vice president , Maryam Nawaz, also ran very effective campaign in favour of PMLN candidates to make sure that her party wins majority to prove that PMLN enjoys support of majority in the province.

With halt of campaign , both parties (PMLN and PTI) will continue door to door campaign till the last day of voting on July 17,2022.
