RAWALPINDI: July 18, 2023: A suicide blast on FC vehicle in Peshawar left 8 injured including 6 officials.
The rescue officials said that 8 people have been injured in an explosion near FC’s vehicle in Hayatabad, a posh area of Peshawar.
Senior Suprentendent Police (SSP) operations Peshawar, Haroon Rasheed, and SSP Cantt , Waqas Rafiq , said FC vehicle has been targeted by terrorists and 8 people including 6 FC personnel have been injured in the blast. They said investigation is ongoing and something final will be said later.
Foreign Minister, Bilawal Bhutto, has condemned the suicide attack in Peshawar and said that terrorists and planners cannot escape from the law.
It should be noted that there has been an alarming increase in the incidents of terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa this year. 144 police personnel have been martyred in various terrorist attacks across the province so far.
