Peshawar – A formal oath-taking ceremony was held at the Governor House in Peshawar, where 25 newly elected members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly elected on reserved seats for women and non Muslims were officially sworn in.
Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, administered the oath to the members elected on reserved seats.The oath taking was conducted in accordance with the nomination order issued by the Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court.

Governor Kundi congratulated all the women and minority members who took the oath on their successful induction into the provincial legislature. He also expressed his gratitude to the Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court for his significant role in issuing the nomination order that enabled the swearing in of these members.
The ceremony was attended by several notable figures, including Federal Minister for SAFRON Engineer Amir Muqam, Leader of the Opposition in the KP Assembly Dr. Ibadullah, and various members from opposition parties.

It is important to note that the oath was taken under Article 65 and Article 255(2) of the Constitution of Pakistan, and in accordance with Rule 6 of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Procedure and Conduct of Business Rules, 1988.
