ISLAMABAD: With entering of Taliban in Kabul, Afghan president, Ashraf Ghani on Sunday, ran away from Afghanistan with his close political aides.
According to international media, Ashrag Ghani flee from Afghanistan to Tajkistan. A few advisors also ran to Tajkistan with Ashraf Ghani.
Although, former Afghan president, Hamid Karzai, announced formation of a coorsination council to run Afghanistan and transfer of power to next government, but within a few hours after Hamid Karzai’s announcement , Afghan Taliban entered into Kabul and they started to take control of presidential palace.
Spokesman for Taliban announced late on Sunday that Taliban has control of presidential place in Kabul. He also ruled out formation of coordination council and said Taliban want quick and complete transfer of power to run the country peacefully.
