Tehreek e Labaik acted as Indian network: Fawad, Rashid

ISLAMABAD: Information minister, Fawad Chaudhary , on Wednesday told a press conference here that banned Tehreek e Labaik had acted as an Indian network during sit -ins held in Islamabad to destablise Pakistan that resulted in stern action against it like banning as a political party, besides taking legal action against its leadership. Fawad Chaudhary, who was flanked by Interior minister, Shaikh Rashid Ahmad , also gave details of Indian conspiracy that led to withdrawal of New Zealand cricket.team from Pakistan on September 17 last.

The federal.minister said a threatening message to New Zealand team was generated from India and released from Singapore which resulted in abrupt cancellation of cricket series by New Zealand.
According to federal Information minister, the security departments had intercepted messages generated for Tehreek e Labiak from India during its sit in in twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

Tahreek e Labaik had emerged as an extremist right wing religious party in Pakistan. Its leadership used religious card to give an impression to the masses in Pakistan that it was a frontliine fighter to struggle for protection of Islamic laws in Pakistan. But, in fact, it was working on the behest of India to destablise Pakistan.
Tehreek e Labaik became a nuisance for Pakistan as it twicely chocked twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad by holding sit in at Faizabad junction. Both times , Tehreek e Labaik gave tough resistance to the law enforcing agencies as it had managed to assemble a large number of fanatics in its sit ins.

Finally, law had taken its course to ban Tehreek e Labaik, besides arresting its leadership.
Fawad Chaudhary’s Wednesday’s disclosure is a cause of concern for every Pakistani. It also has a clear message for Pakistanis that they should study every character before supporting any group or party.
