KARACHI : Feb 17,2023: in an operation clean-up , the forces killed all the terrorists in blitz operation.
DIG Karachi, Muqadas Haider, confirmed at 10.38 PM that all terrorists who attacked the Karachi police chief’s office have been killed and office building has been cleared of the attackers.

A group of terrorists on Friday attacked the Karachi police chief’s office situated at Shahrah e Faisal here.
The terrorists whose number, according to an initial official report, was 8 to 10 attacked the office of Karachi police chief situated on Shahrah e Faisal , a busy road of Karachi at around 6.50 PM on Friday .
The terrorists hurled hand grenades to make their entry into the office of Karachi police chief.
According to Sindh chief minister , Murad Ali Shah, the police force, which has support of the Ranger and Quick Response Force (QRF), is fighting the terrorists inside the 5- storey building where the Karachi police chief’s office is situated at Shahrah e Faisal here.
Murad Ali Shah said the city police and the Rangers have cordoned-off the area and a clean – up operation was going on. He told the media persons that the reports of the operation to weed out the terrorists who attacked the Karachi police chief office was going on and he would be giving the number of casualties and injured once the clean-up operation gets over.
The initial reports suggest that at least two law enforcing agencies (LEAs) personal and two terrorists were killed in the fight inside the building where the Karachi police chief’s office is situated.
According to DIG South Karachi , a suicide bomber blew him up at the fourth floor of the building where the operation to weed out the terrorists was continuing for the last around 3 hours.
Interior minister , Rana Sanaullah , told electronic media that the police , the Rangers and QRF were conducting the operation and the forces were committed to clear the Karachi police chief’s office of the terrorists. He expressed astonishment over presence of the terrorists in Karachi.
DIG South Karachi, Irfan Baloch , confirmed at around 10.22 PM that three terrorists have been killed in the operation clean-up. He said the office of Karachi police chief was being cleared from the attackers.
