Islamabad, (Newsman): Traders in Islamabad have approached the Islamabad High Court (IHC) in response to the PTI protest planned for November 24 in the federal capital.
Asad Aziz, President of Jinnah Super Market, filed a petition with the IHC against the protest.
In his petition, Aziz argued that the PTI protest would infringe upon basic human rights. He emphasized that every citizen has the right to conduct business peacefully, and the protest could violate the fundamental rights of those engaged in peaceful trade.
The petition requests the court to order the administration to prevent Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and its supporters from holding the protest. Aziz also called on the court to ensure the protection of trade and property during the protest.

The Ministry of Interior, Chief Commissioner, and District Magistrate have been named as respondents in the petition, along with Islamabad’s Inspector General (IG) and PTI Chairman, Barrister Gauhar.
In a separate development, the government has decided to partially suspend internet and mobile services ahead of PTI’s long march to Islamabad.

Sources from the Ministry of Interior indicated that internet and mobile services could be suspended in several districts across Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Punjab.
Additionally, the sources revealed that a firewall would be activated on mobile internet services starting November 22, which is expected to slow down internet speeds.
