Rawalpindi : August 25,2024 : In a tragic accident that occured at Girari bridge on Kahuta- -Rawalpindi road on Sunday when a coaster plunged into a ditch all 26 passengers onboard have died . Rescue 1122 official confirmed that the only injured of the accident succumbed to his injuries when Rescue 1122 teams were shifting him to Kahuta Tehsil Headquarters Hospital. Rescue 1122 official Rafaqat Hussain told NEWSMAN that all passengers onboard the ill-fated coasters have died. The accident occured due to failure of brakes of the ill-fated coaster. The coaster had left Kahuta for Rawalpindi on Sunday morning . Those died included 21 men, four women and one child. President Asif Zardari , Prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , National Assembly speaker, Ayaz Sadiq , Interior minister, Mohsin Naqvi , have expressed heartfelt condolences for the victims and prayed for their eternal peace in heaven.
