As diplomatic tensions rose, Trudeau said there were “clear indications” that India breached Canada’s sovereignty.

OTTAWA: On Wednesday, Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that there were “clear indications” that India had violated Canadian sovereignty.

Trudeau discussed Nijjar’s murder and what he saw as a larger conspiracy by Indian government officials to target Canadians during a hearing on foreign influence on Wednesday.

Trudeau told the inquiry, “We had clear and certainly now ever clearer indications that India had violated Canada’s sovereignty.”
