DADU: Umme Rubab “Daughter of Sindh” has proven that if you stand on priciple of truth and have courage noone can overpower you. The daughter of Sindh saw barbaric killing of her family elders and decided to stand up against this brutal act done by Chandio Sardars who were symbol of fear in Dadu and the people were afraid of voicing against their brutalities. Knowing the risk and nature of the challenge an innocent girl now known as a beacon of courage and the daughter of Sindh , stood up against the system run and owned by Sardars n Chandios.
Her unparalelled fight against Sardars of Sindhbus on and it may take more years to bring her justice but Saturday’s decusion of a local model criminal court of Nadeem Badr Qazi judge who nominated accused Sardar Chandio and Burhan Chandio, both PPP MPA of Sindh assembly , in tripple murder case of elders of Umme Rubab “Daughter of Sindh” family is her first win in the fight.
The nominated accused, Sardar Chandio and Burhan Chandio, had killed Umme Rubab’s father, grandfather and uncle over enemity . SInce the accused are PPP MPAs of Sindh assembly and landlord Sardars of Chandio tribe, they used their influence to delay arrest in the case. However, on the orders of Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP), the accused were arrested. Umme Rubab, complainant in the case, fought legal fight couragiously , the accused were nominated in the case by the court.
Talking to media after the hearing, ” Daughter of Sindh” said today’s decision of the court was win of every downtrodden individual of Pakistan and defeat of Sardars and landlords. She vowed to carry on legal fight till award of punishment to the accused.
