Washington / Islamabad : US president , Donald Trump , has hinted at travelling to Islamabad anytime soon if the deal with Iran for peace in the Middle East (MR) is signed there.
Talking to the media persons at the White House after announcing a deal between Israel and Lebanon on Thursday , the US president said ” Yes I can go to Islamabad if a deal with Iran is done there”.
President Donald Trump’s confidence in signing the deal with Iran in Pakistan soon is indicative of growing possibility of US peace deal with Iran to end the Middle East (ME) war.
Trump ‘s visit to Pakistan for witnessing the deal with Iran is a mystery for many days. However , there was no any formal word on it from any stakeholders to the conflict. However unprecedented security measures being put in place in Islamabad tell the whole story. The administration of the federal capital has almost sealed the entire area of the federal capital even before the arrival of any delegation from Iran or US . Roads leading from Noor Khan Airbase where high ranking delegations and top leaders are expected to land for the second round of Islamabad talks to Serena Hotel in G-5 sector of Islamabad are under renovations. All types of public transportation has been banned to enter in Islamabad from any route and there is great possibility that the offices , schools / colleges and business activities will remain halted in the federal capital during the possible second round of talks between Iran and US.
Donald Trump once again piled – up praise on Pakistan’s civil and military leadership during his media interaction. He said Pakistan ‘s prime minister and field marshal are great persons and they are doing great job for a deal between US and Iran.
Pakistan had facilitated Iran and US for the first round of talks in Islamabad last week. After the talks both sides had given impression of stalment of the talks , but they kept their channels open for another round.
Pakistan leadership (Civil and Military) took -up the task of bringing Iran and US back to negotiations to help them reach a formal agreement to end the ME war. Prime minister,Shahbaz Sharif,and CDF , Syed Asim Munir , are on a shuttle mission to Iran and three key countries including Saudi Arabia , Qatar and Türkiye for taking them in confidence on the issues to be discussed in the second round of talks.
