ISLAMABAD: An anonymous case was filed before the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) for review of Justice Fiaz Essa case here on Wednesday.
Sources said the Registrar Office of SCP has returned the appeal with its objection, saying since the review in Justice Essa case has already been exhausted another review appeal cannot be entertained.
A larger bench of SCP had disposed- off Justice Essa case one month back, noting in its judgment that the prosecutor has failed to prove its case hence it stands disposed- off.
None of the government offices including the presidency accepted or expressed knowledge of filing any fresh review in Justice Essa case.
