ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice, Javed Iqbal, has said that NAB would not spare those as per law who have absconded abroad after devouring billion of rupees of innocent Pakistanis no matter hiding anywhere in the world.
An official handout issued here on Sunday noted that the chairman NAB said that NAB was determined to fulfil its national duties sans caring about any intimidation, browbeating or duress.
He said business community is playing important role in country’s economic progress as prosperous businessmen ensure prosperity.
NAB was performing its duties to ensure economic prosperity. Since its inception the bureau has recovered Rs 790 billion from corrupt elements directly and indirectly which is a significant success.
The suspects involved in money laundering of billion of rupees had nothing in 1980. And today they owned plazas at Dubai, from where they money poured in?
Action is being taken against fake and illegal housing societies on depriving the poor investors from their hard earned money.The housing societies neither handed over them plots nor had returned their hard earned money.The poor investors are running from pillar to post to get their money back.
NAB returned billion of rupees to affect era of housing societies after recovering from fake and illegal housing societies working in Lahore, Multan,Quetta, Karachi, Peshawar and other areas of the country.
Justice said NAB will never spare those as per law who fled abroad after looting billion of rupees from the poor. NAB will apprehend them from any corner of the world.NAB officers are performing their corruption eradication duties with dedication.
According to the handout , a special desk has been established to address the complaints of trader community.A Director and deputy director has been deputed at these desks to redress the grievances of traders community. NAB considers case not the face behind it.Whoever commit crime will be punished.
