KARACHI:. After a hiatus of a few months, the monster of suicide bombing has hit Pakistan again. This time the terrorists targeted a university in Karachi . The real target of the suicide bombing was the Chinese teaching staff of the university. The suicide bomber despite a tight security cover nmanaged to hit the target. The bombing was so deadly that it damaged everything in a 100 meter radius where suicide bomber hit the vehicle carrying the Chinese teaching staff. This deadly incident killed 3 Chinese and one Pakistani citizen.
The terrorist used a women for heinous suicide bombing on Tuesday . The women are rarely used for suicide bombing in Pakistan and this new trend is more than a serious concern for security related departments of Pakistan.
Karachi police chief told an anchor of a private TV channel on Tuesday that his department had a lead that anti Pakistan forces could attack Chinese nationals in Karachi. He added that the police and other security related departments were on high alert . According to Karachi police chief, the Chinese .nationals who have become victim of Karachi blast were being escorted by the Rangers. At least two Rangers had also injured in the suicide bombing .
A Majeed Brigade of Balochistan Liberation Army ( BLA) claimed responsibility of the Karachi bombing .
Prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif, strongly condemned suicide bombing that targeted Chinese nationals who were among teaching staff of the university.
The prime minister also held a meeting with Chinese charge d affairs after suicide bombing at Karachi university . He said Pakistan will punish those who attacked Chinese nationals in Karachi.
Pakistan People Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto , also condemned suicide bombing at Karachi university .
