ISLAMABAD : Nov 18,2022: Toyota Indus Motor Company is not showing any restraints in its vicious plan of adding massively in the prices of its selected variants.

Indus Motor Company jacks up its prices and then other companies follow suit.
There is no restriction in Pakistan for the car assemblers in increasing the prices of their variants. Any car assemblers can make the increase in its variants any time and as much as they want. The ministry of Industries and Production which is supposed to have a check on the car prices is hardly bothered to ask the assemblers as to why they were jacking up prices of their variants when they were neither delivering cars to the customers nor have any logic for increase in the prices of their cars.
The new increase is its typical example .Toyota Indus is not delivering cars to the buyers for around one year, but it increased the prices of its cars five times during the same period .
The officials of ministry of Industries and Production have their vested interest and the same evil stops them from questioning Indus Motor Company and other assemblers over repeated increases in the last one year without giving delivery to the buyers.
A notification issued by Toyota Indus Motor showed that the company jacked up prices of its variants having power capacity 1600 CC and above from November 17,2022.
The new price increase varies from Rs 190,000 to Rs 700,000.
Minimum increase of Rs 190,000 has been made in the price of Corolla 1.6 CVT and with this increase this variant will now cost to the buyers Rs 4979,000. For Corolla CVT SE , the increase has been made up to Rs 200,000 and now this variant will cost Rs 5479000. Hilux E has been made costly by Rs 620000 and its new price has been fixed at Rs 9069000. Hilux Revo G 2.8 will cost Rs 670000 extra to the buyers and its new price stands at Rs 9839000. Hilux Revo G AT 2.8 will cost Rs 700,000 and its new price has been jacked up to Rs 1039000.
